What Unhyped is
Unhyped is an independent comparison and information service about crypto assets. We compare exchanges and brokers by what they really cost you, and we explain rules such as MiCA or tax in plain language. No price targets, no promises, no hype.
Who is behind it
Unhyped is a small, independent project. There is no exchange, broker or financial company behind the site. The legally responsible operator is named in the imprint.
How we work
- Every number has a source and a date. If we can’t back up a value, we show “n/a”. We don’t guess.
- Licensed providers only. In the EU region, we only compare providers with a MiCA licence.
- Open methodology. How we weigh costs, licence and offering is explained in our methodology.
- Honest about what we haven’t tested. We don’t have our own test accounts with every provider yet. Where that’s the case, we rely on studies and public user reviews and say so.
- Ads are labelled. Whether a provider pays us a commission never changes its ranking. More in how we make money.
What we don’t do
- We don’t hold money or crypto assets.
- We don’t give investment, legal or tax advice.
- We don’t publish price predictions.
